The Show, Hosted by Oden Knight and company (more on that later) is the latest talk show dedicated to Star Trek Online. Ever since STOked Radio went off the air earlier this year, I've been looking and waiting for a show that could fill the void left behind by the departure of STOked Radio. A show that did not simply read the dev blogs but rather gave a detail analysis of new powers and abilities. The few remaining podcasts while very well produced, were lacking in the “math” aspects of Star Trek Online. Other than reading the dev blogs, very little was covered nor explained on how those upcoming changes would affect a player's gaming experience. That is until now…

The Show is what I considered to be the meats and potatoes version of Star Trek Online podcasts. Since it's still in its infancy it's not as polished as other shows that have been around longer. But that's the charm of the show. No lengthy intros or fancy sound effects, it's pure STO math from being to end and I love it. The Show not only includes weekly discussions regarding changes in STO, they also talk about trending events, like The Parse Wars and The Great Stealth Plasma Nerf, they also invite Fleet Owners on the show to showcase their fleets and to share their community's experiences. They also discuss ship builds and surprise it's not all FAW and Plasma Doping. Oden Knight is a very outspoken advocate for the Kinetic Community.
You can tell by the titles they give each other that they don't take themselves too seriously and that's what makes this show not only very informative but also fun. In addition to Oden Knight, The Show is co-hosted by a group of equally minded and passionate individuals.
