Hmm, maybe its because I never watched those shows, lol. Na, more like nobody has watched those shows. I am surprised about Queer Eye, I thought that was a popular show.

I am surprised about Queer Eye, I thought that was a popular show.

That's actually the only show on the list that I've heard of. *shrugs* Never even heard of the others...lol.

apparently neither has a lot of other people.

Well. These have been canned.
I hope that Life, Bionic Women, Chuck, Private Practice and Big Shots all make it.
They are pretty solid shows.

Journeyman I haven't watched since the first episode.
I will see If I can catch up.

Bionic Woman and Private Practice are the only 2 shows I've been dying to see, but unfortunately I have yet to see 1 episode (of either show) :(

Check ABC.COM and NBC.COM
The havem up online.

As long as Prison Break doesn't get cancelled I'll be fine. That's the only show I watch besides America's Next Top Model & Project Runway.

As for those shows listed above the only one I've watched is Queer Eye.

^ so far, not much

OMG how old do i feel lol, i had the BIONIC WOMAN action figure all i remember is plugging little itsy bitsy tiny wires into her leg and ear i think. I remember getting frustrated cause those tiny wires wouldn't stay in lol

With the writers strike in full swing, the networks have been reluctant to officially cancel many shows this season. They're desperate for original scripted programming, even if it's getting less-than-impressive ratings. In that way, the strike's been good for some series; giving them more time to try to build an audience. Unfortunately, sometimes it isn't enough.
Here are the 2007 - 2008 season casualties, as well as a few cable and summer series:
The 4400 - USA Network decided to end the series after 45 episodes and four seasons, leaving many storylines unresolved.
Anchorwoman - After one night on the air, FOX pulled this comedy-reality series starring former World Wrestling Entertainment model Lauren Jones. There was talk that another channel might pick it up but that hasn't happened.
The Dead Zone - USA Network recently decided to end the series after 80 episodes and six seasons. There are currently no plans to wrap up the show's unfinished storylines.
Emeril Live - Food Network has cancelled one of it's flagship programs after 10 years on the air. Fans of Emeril can take consolation in the fact that the energetic chef will still be seen on his other show, The Essence of Emeril.
Hey Paula! - Paula Abdul felt she was unfairly portrayed in the Bravo series and has said that she has no interest in doing another reality show like this one. It would be hard to continue the series without her.
John from Cincinnati - Rather than produce another season of Deadwood, HBO went with this often confusing series from David Milch. Viewership didn't meet expectations and it was cancelled after one season. The DVD set is coming in April 2008.
Journeyman - Despite following NBC's Heroes, this time-travel series consistently lost much of its lead-in audience. The network let it's option to order more first season episodes lapse. Though there's a possibility that the show could return for a second season, it's highly unlikely.
The Kill Zone - Though the John Leguizamo/Donnie Wahlberg series performed well, Spike TV decided against renewing it, opting instead to pursue reality programming.
Nashville - When FOX pulled this reality show after only two episodes, the network maintained that it would return. Unfortunately, the cast and crew were later informed that it was in fact cancelled. The producers were shopping the series to other outlets but it doesn't look like they have had any luck.
On the Lot - FOX had high hopes for the Mark Burnett/Steven Spielberg filmmaking competition but viewers weren't interested. The show was cut to one episode per week and barely made it to its conclusion. The official site's been taken down and it's highly unlikely that you'll ever see the show again.
Online Nation - The first official network cancellation of the season, this CW Internet clip show was dropped after four episodes and lousy ratings.
Passions - NBC cancelled the soap in January. It was saved when DirecTV stepped in and bought the exclusive rights to air it; hoping fans would subscribe to the satellite TV provider. Things haven't worked out and now DirecTV has pulled the plug. The last shows will air in August and, understandably, many soap fans feel cheated. Will someone else save the series?
The Showbiz Show with David Spade - Comedy Central opted not to renew the mock-entertainment news program after three seasons. Spade continues to be seen on CBS' Rules of Engagement.
Traveler - ABC had little faith in this series almost from the start, when the network shortened its episode order and delayed it until Summer 2007. All eight episodes have aired and castmembers have moved on to other projects.
Viva Laughlin - CBS dropped the musical drama after it hit sour notes with both critics and viewers. Eight episodes were filmed but only two have seen the light of day. Stay tuned!

Im am overjoyed with the cancellation of Cavemen.
This had to be THE unfuniest show I have ever seen.

Bionic Woman went from a show I could watch, to a show that made no sense and got boring fast. Question! Do you think Isaiah Washington is kicking himself for getting himself kicked off of Grey's Anatomy!?

Journeyman was never a show to take seriously. It was the one with the least potential.

K-Ville! wOw. What a bad cop drama.

Big Shots was pretty good in my book. But. I understand why it was cancelled.
It was a male version of Sex in the City, but sappier.

Girlfriends: Cancelled and Headed for a Disappointing Series Finale?

girlfriends05b.jpg
girlfriends05a.jpg
The long-running sitcom Girlfriends surprised many by returning for its eighth season last fall. The CW series was renewed for a full season of 22 episodes but, because of the writers strike, only 13 of those were completed. Now that the strike is coming to an end, the network is changing their plans. Would it have been better if the show had closed at the end of year seven?
The CW network has decided against putting the seasoned sitcom back into production for the remaining eight episodes. On top of that, they’re not bringing it back for season nine. Are last Sunday’s episodes the last we’ll see of Joan (Tracee Ellis Ross), Lynn (Persia White), Maya (Golden Brooks), and the rest? Does this mean the fans will be left hanging?
Admittedly, Girlfriends’ season eight ratings haven’t been very good overall but it is the second most-watched sitcom among African Americans (bested only by Girlfriends’ spin-off, The Game). In late 2007, series creator Mara Brock Akil said she was hoping for the best but suspected that there wouldn’t be a ninth year. As a result, she conceived a contingency plan on how to end the show. She teased, “I think fans will be very happy.” Does that mean that Joan would get married? Akil would only say, “when we finally feel like Joan is really OK, I do believe the show is over.”
Unfortunately, with the network now cutting season eight short, it looks like she won’t be able to put that plan into action.
Though nothing is set in stone just yet, the network is currently considering putting together a special one-hour retrospective to close out Girlfriends. It would be made up of clips from past episodes. Though that sounds nice, it wouldn’t offer any kind of closure for the beloved characters — hardly a fitting send-off for a sitcom’s that’s been on the air for eight seasons. We’ll keep you posted on how this one develops. Stay tuned!
