I personally don't know Jason but heard many great thing about him including that he had done a freestyle magazine back in the mid 90's. About a month ago Dj Mr Miami gave be a box of old freestyle stuff (articles, top ten lists, pics, etc..) and while looking through it yesterday I came across two issues of the magazine that Jason did. This one is from September 1994 and it was fun to read and just wanted to share with everyone. I do have October's issue as well which I will scan and post up when I come back from my vacation next weekend.

These used to make it all the way out here to Chicago. I remember grabbing them whenever I'd see them at the different record stores. That's where I got the idea for top tens of current freestyle. I can't believe I remember it after all these years. I think I still have the one that came out soon after this one where dude had Lil Suzy's "Promise Me" ranked #1 on his chart.

I didn't get the Tury Q record until 1996. I was unaware that the song "Hands of Time" had already been around for awhile.

I have another one to post as well as a bunch of top ten/forty lists from back in the day.
