Holy crap Bobby! Ahahaha what a list

One thing I loved about the 80's is that rap was so new, pop music ruled the airwaves, new wave was so kewl, R&B was so beautiful, you could love rock and roll, freestyle was actually good, and all these types of music were played on the radio.

I guess I'll take one of each...

Push It - Salt n Peppa
Save a Prayer - Duran Duran
Cry Wolf - Aha
Still Loving You - Scorpions (still love this song so much)
Anita Baker - Sweet Love
Lisa Lisa - All cried out

By the way Boberto, I loved all the songs you mentioned. I listened to disco too till it died off around 1981

I agree, pop songs were actually interesting back then.  Now they're all ripoffs of TLC's "No Scrubs" LoL

Well those lists were just '80 & 81... I'll post all the years... luckily I kept journals.  Music was so important to me that I wrote songs in the margins in all different crazy letters LoL

My husband laughs at me cuz he says I know every damn song. I'm just a little more open minded. I don't see music as a "race" like people look at me funny if I happen to know an old rock song. I see music as just that, music. I love it all. As Stephany always says "Hey whatever tickles your pickle!" LOL
