Do I sense sarcasm?

*stifles giggle fit*

Not at all, though I do feel the word "traditional" can be a bit misleading. Is this actually a Freestyle album or is it just a collection of Christmas songs, with their traditional musical arrangements (ie. NOT Freestyle), as performed by Freestyle artists?

Good question Rhoq. I wonder if Kenny can answer that one for us.

"Traditional" meaning songs that have been around for years, the ones you grew up singing and listening to, all performed by some of your favorite freestyle artists.

Come on, Kenny. Is this actually a Freestyle album or is just a collection of non-Freestyle renditions of Christmas songs performed by "some of your favorite freestyle artists"?

Sounds like christmas songs sung by artists once known for freestyle.

This is the first of a hopefully long and successful line of christmas cds, to be released yearly. we will feature artists new and old and we have a good selection of songs for next years album.

pure trend, contact me please.

i dont think he ever said it WAS a freestyle albulm. it is was he said it is. a freetsyle christmas. traditional songs sung by ur fav freestyle artist.

He didn't. Which is why the issue needed to be cleared-up now before the backlash from people who would have made a blind purchase only to find it out wasn't a Freestyle album ;)

I myself would prefer one like the Metropolitan Freestyle cd. I enjoy listening to that every year. I also have the Christmas in the City cds but don't enjoy them nearly as much.

I will still check it out and possibly purchase it.

Personally, I don't think the music would have blended well if these traditional songs were Freestyle in it's sounding. I think the fact that it's a compilation sung by Freestyle artists is a good idea. I'm somewhat interested - depends on the audio content of the material.
