CHARLIE XO from Chicago Il, First made his mark in the industry as a commercial model at the age of 17 years old, He was always in love with music ever since he can remember. Before becoming a model, he was in a Mexican Spanish group at the age of 16 years old as one of the lead vocalist. That was only for a short period of time as he had to moved out of state with his family.At the age of 18 not only was he still modeling but was also signed to a record label in the Dance Music scene with 3 hits from his first EP album “EL AMOR”
After he moved back to Chicago he started working with friend/producer the late Carlos Mojica who is known to be one of Chicago’s greatest producers working with major Latin artist such as “Los Horoscopos De Durango” “Parulla 81” and many more, also known in the freestyle world for his smash hits such as “Heidi Mathus – Tables Turn” and “Laura – Only In My Dreams” to name a few.
Charlie and Carlos went on to create the Latin Pop Group B.L.A.K.E who got their first smash hit in Mexico with their first single “ESCAPATE” landing them their first show opening up for Freestyle artist Lil Suzy in less then two weeks after the group was created. Carlos went on to produce four more smash hits for B.L.A.K.E “Solo Contigo” “FANTASMA” “ConeXion Mental” and ‘Bailame Lento” release under the label Tazmania Records. B.L.A.K.E went on to release their first album in 2017 call “Luz En La Oscuridad”.
Charlie wrote and co-produced every song for his group and for him self as a solo artist also created the image, art work and directed their music videos. The group B.L.A.K.E went on to perform all over Chicago out of Chicago on Music Awards, appearing on many red carpets and two different Magazines, even won an Award for their breakthrough music and achievements making Charlie an Award Winning Artist.
After B.L.A.K.E took a brake from music Charlie went on to release his first Solo EP Album in Spanish called “INMORTAL” under Romeo Entertainment from Germany giving him a record deal for a full length album in Freestyle Music that Come Out in March of 2020, releasing four singles from the album “Moonlight” “Tears” Ft Laura (Only In My Dreams) “Amame” and “Love Spell”.
He just release his New Single “HAUNTED” under 418 Freestyle making it his highest successful song in Freestyle Dance Music reaching #5 on iTunes 200 dance albums on its debut day, reaching #20 on 100 beatport chart and reaching over 10k streams in less then 3 weeks of its release and still growing, its on commercial FM air play rotation and internet radio. Getting ready to release his next New Single with legendary artist Alisa B known for being in the successful group Max-A-Million (Fat Boy) and not leaving his roots behind he is also working on his full length album in Spanish to be release in 2021.
Charlie is coming full force to give his fans and friends more music to enjoy.
